Description

Be a stone’s throw from the center of it all in this two-bedroom villa located a brisk 15-minute
walk from the hub of Santa Fe’s cultural scene.

Each year thousands of locals and visitors alike flock to Santa Fe’s Railyard and Guadalupe
districts for the best of The City Different. With its wide offering of hip restaurants, galleries, art
museums, outdoor markets and more, you could easily spend your entire stay in this one area
and never run out of things to do.

You’ll immediately feel embraced by local style upon seeing this traditional pink adobe home
with its rough-hewn stockage fence. The sunny living room with its contemporary furniture,
high beamed ceiling and hardwood floor offers the perfect place to relax after a day of
exploring the railyard markets. A kitschy antique floor safe that functions as an end table
provides fun balance to the room’s traditional corner fireplace. In the adjoining dining room,
handsome leather chairs dot an oversized farmer’s dining room table for six that sits atop a
traditional Navajo rug.

After spending a day in the local Farmers Market, you’ll want to try your hand at creating your
own version of local cuisine in the generous size kitchen that comes complete with all
appliances and lots of counterspace. Or, if you’re up for a little homemade barbecue, just pop
outside on the patio and create your magic on and old-style charcoal grill.
The guest quarters have all the comforts of home with a mission style queen-size bed, flat
screen TV and lots of wardrobe and closet space. A nearby full bathroom with tub is greeted
with the morning sun everyday as it streams through the overhead skylight.

The master suite is a masterwork of clever style mixing where a rustic dark wood ceiling, stone
floor and a wood burning stove is offset by high mission-style stained glass windows and mid-
century modern king-sized bedroom set. It’s the perfect place for sleeping in or watching the
room’s flat screen TV. Through antique heavy oak doors, you’ll find a warm full bathroom with
terracotta floors and stand up shower.

With easy off-street parking and proximity to just about everything, this charming traditional
southwestern casita offers the ideal getaway that’s not out of the way.

clean and tidy place, a little old, some windows wont open, back yard area was messy, with weed clippings , the outside of the place wasnt very presentable. Inside everything was clean, beds were good, general decor is old, but ok. Internet worked ok. Car parking off street is very tight. Place was very hot when we arrived due to heaters being left on, even though cleaners had a/c on to cool.

This location was perfect for a stay in Santa Fe! It is about 15-20 minute walk to downtown plaza, and about 10 minutes to the Railyard where there is a great farmers' market. The Fridays Off team were totally responsive to all our messages, and everything went very smoothly, from check-in to check-out. The place was very comfortable for 3 adults, with the two bedrooms (and bathrooms) very private. There is a nice outside area (but we didn't have time to use it!) The wifi was just fine (except in the back bedroom). Overall, I would recommend the location and Fridays Off In Santa Fe!

This is a great value and a very good location. This is a new rental so I would say -- get it while you can at a price that is favorable. Great for a small family.
